Airborn

Airborn out with Matt rescuing a man from a balloon and the man he rescued saying something about flying creatures then he died. 1 year later Matt is on the Aurora. He meets a girl named Kate who is looking for the flying creatures that her grandfather saw. Her grand father was the man who Matt rescued from the balloon. Then the pirates attacked led by Szpirglas. They took the valuables of the Aurora. They leave but the propellers cut the Aurora side and fall toward the sea but they land on a island. They repair the Aurora but a gust of wind blows the hydrogen out of the blimp. meanwhile Matt and Kate found bones of the creature Kate’s grandfather saw. They name it a cloud cat. After they get the bones the storm that got the Aurora hits them they shelter in a cave that smelled like mangoes. When the storm dies they go back. The captain says they don’t enough hydrogen to fly. Matt remembers the cave that smell like  mangoes and tells them he thinks it has hydrogen. There is a hydrogen vent in the back of the cave. They refill the Aurora. But Kate is missing Bruce and Matt go to look for her. They find her but a cloud cat attacks them and Bruce gets hurt. Then it chases Matt and Kate away. They run into pirates and they take them to the village were Szpirglas lives they escape from there meet up with Bruce but the blimp was captured by pirates.So Matt, Bruce and Kate have to take back the blimp which involves traveling in a dumb waiter, putting sleeping powder in the pirates stew, and climbing the rigging with bare feet.

Everyone lives in a tree called Avalon. Avalon connects the spirit world with earth. Throughout the series they to stop Rhita Gawr. Rhita Gawr is trying to take over Avalon and then take over Earth. Tamwyn, Elli , and Scree must stop him.
