Utopia
A perfect Utopian society in my eyes would be an island far from money problems or poverty. Everyone would have a job that they wanted and no one would be unpretty or not perfect. The political level would be way less than what is is now and people would find there was a more secure government that we could rely more than what we do in the U.S. The people on the island of Utopia would have it good. There would be problems, but they wouldn't be the same.
Feminism
In a Utopian world women would not worry about how they look going out or even staying at home. They would feel good about themselves no matter how beautiful the person sitting next to them is. They could get themselves all dressed up but no one would feel less pretty than someone else. (That has nothing to do with feminism, but I felt that's important in a Utopian society.)
On a different note, it's sad that women aren't exactly treated the same. For example, it's usually girls that are abused the most. It happens to men but, I've heard more case where the women it abused. I don't know why that is but, it is just the same. I've read a book named Dream of Night that a single mother gets abused by her boyfriend. The little girl, no more than 11 or 12 gets wound into it and Slade the mother's boyfriend abuses the little girl. Shiloh (the little girl) ends up getting cigarette marks in her shoulder not once but six times! I know that's fiction but, things like that really do happen every day.
Another thing is that there has never been a women president. I think that's our fault because we don't apply ourselves as much as we should but, still I think some of the blame should go to certain men that are just to narrow-minded to except that we are just as good as them.
In the article on Wikipedia it named a lot of authors like Doris Lessing and I couldn't really follow that but, please note that I did look at it and I really did try to follow it the best I could. Thank you!
